Despite waking up early and making morning drawings before washing my face staring at the forest from my room window as a TV Plasma, riding the bicycle for hours into the nordic landscapes, listening to the thousands bees buzzing as a symphony in a yellow flowers yard, collecting and cutting fallen heavy branches, recording sounds I might never listen again, rubbing my eyes trying to understand and contemplate places I never imagined, I started to contemplate the forest as an entity and work in collaboration with it by thinking impossible projects, sculptures, installations or intuitive ideas that appears in my silent mind. Perhaps some of these ideas will become into something in the future. The following automatic morning drawings I made just after waking up without even talking, staring at the forest from my room window at Arteles Creative Center in Hämeenkyrö, Finland (where I could hardly ever saw darkness). I couldn’t say exactly where the images come from, but I believe they reflect an initial state of consciousness, influenced by natural landscapes I had never seen before. I made a video showing all the drawings process called ‘Las imágenes respiran desde el alba y movimientos en las copas de los árboles nórdicos’.
